Senior Partner	Peter Gardiner F.C.A
Peter qualified in 1970 and was appointed a Partner in 1974. He became Senior Partner in 1991. In addition to general practice, audit and compliance work, Peter specialises in strategic planning, financial and business advisory services. He has responsibility for practice development.

Business Development Partner	Dawn Lay-Flurrie A.C.A
After graduating from University College Cardiff with an Accountancy and Management Degree Dawn joined a national firm as a graduate Trainee Chartered Accountant. She qualified in 1990 and transferred to the insolvency department. Having gained experience of real time issues Dawn joined Butt Cozens. She was appointed a Partner in Butt Cozens in 1997. Dawn has developed a reputation as an investigative accountant and provides management support and business advisory services. She has responsibility for the firm’s administration, IT and recruitment and has a supporting role for practice development.

Audit Partner	Melinda Simpson A.C.A
After graduating from Brunel University with an Economics Degree Melinda joined a national firm as a graduate Trainee Chartered Accountant. She qualified in 1984 and joined a London firm of accountants working her way to Personal Assistant to the senior partner and into Partnership in 1988. Melinda joined Butt Cozens in 1990 was appointed a Partner in 1992. In addition to general practice, audit and compliance work, Melinda specialises in litigation support. She has responsibility for audit and technical standards for the practice, training and professional development of the staff and has a supporting role for practice development.
